Trend News Agency, citing the announcement of Rovnag Abdullayev , SOCAR head, reports that the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) intends to retain 51 percent of its share in the Trans-Anatolian gas pipeline (TANAP).
According to Abdullayev, Turkey will own 20% of the equity and added that the remaining 29 % will be distributed among the new shareholders, such as Total, BP and Statoil .
Note, On June 26, 2012, Azerbaijan and Turkey signed an intergovernmental agreement on TANAP implementation.
