Information appeared in the domain of Russian media, the definition of which as spam may seem very mild and civilized points to an anonymous letter saying that ASALA ( the Armenian Secret Army for the Liberation of Armenia) is going to organize Safarov’s execution during two years. The letter expresses rather harsh accusations to the West, the U.S. and Europe as if they are allegedly guilty in participating in the liberation of Ramil Safarov.
Thus, the domain of Russian media, from the name of well-known Armenian organization, fills dirt and turns accusatory arrows to the West. It wants to discredit the organization, Armenians and Armenia as a state. This, in fact, is an attempt to clash the interests of the state and the Diaspora.
This dirty Russian informational trick is quite typical and consistent with the behavior of the state in the same Safarov issue. Armenia’s strategic ally issued essentially meaningless, ambiguous statement four days later. There is surely the question of money laundering, and often both practical and even ideological sponsorship, so there will be combinations from media, which do not stem from Russia’s interests and desires.
So, Russia presents another “nice” and “friendly” surprise to the grateful Armenian nation. We need to determine how this provocation of the honor and dignity of the people and the state must be justified.
