European Union will give 60 million Euros to Armenia for judicial reforms, economic cooperation and agreements between EU and Armenia.
As “Freedom” radio station reports, the European committee has accepted a program for Armenia in the circle of Eastern partnership program of 2012, which must accelerate the judicial reforms and create grounds for the developments of mutual political and economic cooperation with EU.
The new aid includes training possibilities for important national institutions, establishment of experimental councils, schools for lawyers, judges and prosecutors that will finally create independent, transparent justice that will serve the Armenians, it is said in the official website of EU.
Part of the aid will be directed to the improvement of large-scale trade between EU and Armenia and the simplification of visa regime.
Georgia will also get 60 million’s aid for modernization of agriculture and insurance of food security.
The program plans to assist Georgian agriculture sphere, especially to the development of small farms.
For insurance of food security special laboratories will be founded to meet the European food standards.
Azerbaijan will get less financial support from EU, as it hasn’t started negotiations on large-scale trade with EU yet and 19.5 million Euros given to Azerbaijan will be invested in justice and migration spheres.
