President Serzh Sargsyan had a farewell meeting with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania Gedryus Apuokasi, who has finished his diplomatic mission in the Republic of Armenia. “First News and Analyses” has learned that from the President’s official website.
Noting that in recent years political dialogue in the Armenian-Lithuanian relations have intensified and cooperation in various fields between the two countries raised to a new stage, Serzh Sargsyan said that there was Gedryus Apuokasi’s great contribution to all that. The President thanked the Ambassador and expressed hope that the next Ambassador of Lithuania will be able to maintain the progress and develop it.
The interlocutors pleased to speak about Lithuanian companies, which are interested in investments to Armenia’s economic programs, noting that the promotion of economic cooperation gradually activates bilateral ties in the cultural sphere.
President Serzh Sargsyan highly appreciated the support of Lithuania to Armenia for European integration and cooperation with European organizations and the exchange of experience.
