In Masis mayor elections PAP had nominated 3 candidacies, those being deputy mayor Karapet Ohanyan, mayor Dmitri Nazaryan and Avetiq Dallaqyan. In the interview with Yerkir.am, PAP secretary in NA Naira Zohrabyan had informed that after PAP leader Gagik Tsarukyan’s arrival they will have a council session and will decide which 2 of the candidates will renounce themselves and who will continue the struggle against ARP candidate.
Today in the interview with Yerkir.am Naira Zohrabyan said that they have already decided.
Thus, the deputy mayor Karapet Ohanyan will fight for the post of Masis mayor against ARP candidate Sahsa Hakobyan. Avetiq Dallaqyan and incumbent mayor Dmitri Nazaryan have already presented their self-renouncements.
In the interview with the mass media Zohrabyan said referring to the PAP press secretary Tigran Urikhanayn’s announcemet that in no any electoral district will PAP support ARP, that she doesn’t have the thorough picture of elections, but as far as she knows there is no candidate from ARP that is supported by PAP.
To the question whether she excludes such case, Zohrabyan answered: “Theoretically I exclude, but as the process of running candidacies is actually over, we see no case when PAP supports ARP candidate.”
