The contradictions within the Republican party once again began to deteriorate.
According to the “Armenian Times” there are 2 reasons for such situation. The first is the local Government elections which will be held on September 9 and 23 and the second is connected with the head of the National Assembly and the vice-president of ARF, Hovik Abrahamyan.
As reported, our PM, Tigran Sargsyan, was very upset with Hovik Abrahamyan, since he thought that the latter is trying to take everything under his control.
Yesterday “AT” had an interview with the other vice-president of ARF, Galust Sahakyan.
During the meeting “AT” asked whether the information is true and there are misunderstandings within the Republican party.
Sahakyan answered: “We haven’t discussed the things the way you describe. Yes, we do have the issue concerning the local government elections, and we have chosen Hovik Abrahamyan because of his reputation, but his activities, so far, are not satisfying for Tigran Sargsyan.”
We see that the contradictions within the Republican party is obvious, even if they try to hide it we can see it by our own eyes. As a proof of it , there are lots of places, where the Republicans didn’t nominate a candidate, but a Republican nominated himself as a candidate, there is also a case where there are nominated 2 republicans who will compete against each other.
