He was a mayor for two terms due to the fact of being supported by the owner of Tashir group Karen Karapetyan. Besides, the citizens don’t complain of their mayor and would elect him again. According to Tashir sources of “Hraparak” this time Karen Karapetyan’s favorite is a young man, non-partisan Edgar Arshakyan. He is not from Tashir, but from neighbor Metsavan community.
