“Armenian Times” had an interview with RAP president Galust Sahakyan and asked him what he thinks about migration in Armenian villages,since a lot of Armenian villagers leave their countries but the head of the village doesn’t leave his chair for many years.
Galust Sahakyan answered: “You really think that the head of the village is guilty in this case? If you think so, then you are wrong, because only the time and the location of our country are to blame for migration. If an Armenian citizen thinks that we are in peace now and will do everything to make the impossible things possible, then he is also wrong. People migrate because of several issues, moreover wealthy people also leave the county, they collect money, and go to Europe or US to get good jobs, or to make their own businesses.” Said Sahakyan.
In the end “Armenian Times” added : “If we follow Sahakyan’s announcement, that time is the only thing that is to blame for migration, then trying to prevent migration is just useless.”
