Slovakia’s Economy Minister Denisa Sakova announced that, since 2:00 a.m. on April 23, the country has resumed receiving oil via the Druzhba pipeline.
According to the minister, the current supply of raw materials is proceeding according to the previously agreed plan and without disruptions.
The pipeline restoration became possible after Ukraine completed repairs and restarted it.
It should be noted that this strategic facility was damaged in a Russian attack in January, resulting in a long-term interruption of supplies to Hungary and Slovakia.
