The Slovak Minister of Economy announced that Ukraine has begun the process of restarting the Druzhba oil pipeline. According to information from Ukrtransnafta, the Ukrainian side has started increasing pressure and filling the pipeline from Belarus this morning.
Oil transportation and regular supplies to Slovakia will resume fully tomorrow morning, April 23.
This development is of great importance for the region’s energy security, as the Druzhba oil pipeline is one of the main arteries supplying Central European countries.
