A huge “heat dome” forming over the United States could be one of the largest heat waves in the country’s history, meteorologists say. Recently, the heat has broken March temperature records in 14 US states. At first, it affected the southwestern regions of the country, but it is now gradually moving east. According to the US National Weather Service’s Forecast Center, the heat may persist until the middle of next week.
