Northern Terroir Wines Brought the Spirit of Tavush to Guests of the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles World Wine Competition

They touched upon the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan

Following the official welcoming ceremony for Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and the Prime Minister of Slovakia held a private meeting. The two Prime Ministers continued their discussions in expanded formats.

Prime Minister Pashinyan welcomed Robert Fico and the delegation he led to the Republic of Armenia. Nikol Pashinyan attached importance to the development of further relations with Slovakia. “We have already discussed that there is a huge potential to develop our relations in all directions, and your visit is a perfect opportunity to take stock of these opportunities once again and focus on specific directions to have a specific roadmap,” said Nikol Pashinyan.

The Prime Minister thanked Robert Fico for the support shown in the agendas related to Armenia. “Today, during the “Yerevan Dialogue” conference, you reaffirmed your support for the peace agenda in our region and the presence of the European Union observer mission in Armenia. I would also like to thank you for holding next year’s summit of the European Political Community in the spring in Armenia,” said the Prime Minister, expressing hope that next year, the Prime Minister of Slovakia will be hosted in our country again.

In turn, Robert Fico invited Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on an official visit to Slovakia at a time convenient for him. “Our private conversation that has just ended confirms that there are common topics of interest, so we warmly welcome you to Slovakia with the same hospitality. On behalf of the entire Slovak delegation, I would like to thank you very much for your hospitality and friendship.

When preparing for this meeting, esteemed Mr. Prime Minister, I thoroughly studied all the documents that I received for preparation. I can note with great satisfaction that we could discuss the issues even without these documents since we have topics of common interest,” said the Slovak Prime Minister.

The interlocutors discussed issues related to developing bilateral trade and economic relations, expanding business ties, and cooperating in industry, agriculture, and energy.

Nikol Pashinyan and Robert Fico emphasized the need to activate bilateral cooperation and, in this regard, attached importance to the organization of high-level mutual visits.

They exchanged views on further developing Armenian-European Union relations and promoting democratic reforms in our country.

The peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan and the recent developments. Robert Fico expressed his country’s support for the Armenian Government’s peace agenda in favor of regional stability and cooperation.
