The French Minister of Telecommunications, Jean-Noel Barrot, announced on Monday that the European Union might only ban the social network Twitter from August 25 if its management fulfills the European requirements for combating disinformation.
“The rules of social networks and markets will come into force at the end of the summer, which imply mandatory moderation, elimination of illegal materials, etc.,” said the minister.
