Since the president of Azerbaijan has declared that they did not have any deserters in the forty-four-day war, it is understood that Bayramov is talking about the “missing people” in the first Karabakh war.
As they say, sorry, but what does Armenia have to do with it? In the first Karabakh War, a ceasefire was established between Azerbaijan and Nagorno Karabakh. During the war and in the following years, the national commissions on prisoners of war, hostages, and missing persons of Azerbaijan and NKR had legitimate cooperation. Those working contacts should be documented. The NSS of Artsakh can publish them and express readiness for further cooperation. Why is Armenia getting involved in the discussions of an issue that does not concern it at all?”
