Bloomberg reported on Thursday that India is considering the possibility of replenishing its strategic oil reserves.
Earlier, the Indian government offered foreign and local companies to lease part of two underground storage facilities to store about 8 million barrels of oil. In early 2023, the country’s authorities allocated 50 billion rupees (more than 600 million dollars) to replenish strategic reserves of hydrocarbons.
