Yesterday Hovik Abrahamyan told “Aravot” that he respected every citizen’s decision, also that of the first president. To the question whether he considered the age boundary the reason to withdraw from politics, Abrahamyan said: “Could I not think for him?”
Abrahamyan left for an unexpected vacation on November 14-21 not waiting for a day to finish the 4-days’ session in the NA. This vacation matched with Kocharyan’s statements on shifting the power to the parliament and let everyone who tried to see his shadow everywhere, knew that the PAP is fully capable to organize its political agenda on its own. It is said when Abramahyam was on a vacation, Serzh Sargsyan was on a vacation too and after Kocharyan’s announcement had called Abrahamyan to talk to him.
Abrahamyan told his decisions never change no matter who he meets and where he meets and the reason he went for a vacation were for personal reasons only.
