A criminal case is initiated in the Special Investigation Service for eavesdropping and illegally publishing the confidential conversation of the MPs Levon Zurabyan and Vardan Oskanian.
In particular, based on the application of the NA RA deputies’ materials sent from the General Prosecutor’s Office it was revealed that the conversation was secretly recorded in 2012 September-October at the meeting in café “Rich”, and it was placed on the Internet in mid-December, 2012. Considering that there are offense characteristics provided by the 144 Article of the RA Criminal Code, the Special Investigation Service launched a criminal inquiry.
On December 21, 2012 L. Zurabyan and V. Oskanian invited the RA special investigative service. MPs did not report it as a separate crime, but were questioned as witnesses, noting the details of the meeting.
