On December 9, in Burbank city of California in front of North America Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church yard, activists of “Teghut defense” initiative met the RA prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan with a protest action, who was in the U.S. with a working visit.

Recall that RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan went up to the crowd in front of the primacy, activists of the civil initiative to protect Teghut, who expressed their anxiety about the environmental problems in Armenia, in particular those related to the operation of mines.
Turning to the activists, he said, “We are closely monitoring your activities and aware of your concerns and, in fact, we hold a number of meetings with representatives of the movement.”
