RA Government Information Service informed “1in.am News and Analyses” that Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Lithuania Giedrius Apuokas, who is completing his diplomatic mission in our country.The Prime Minister thanked the Ambassador for his work.
“It is obvious that your work has had a serious impact on the Armenian-Lithuanian ties- to bring it to a new level, as well as to strengthen,” said Tigran Sargsyan.
The two sides highly appreciated joint projects in many spheres, in particular, in military, cultural and educational spheres and expressed confidence that the work should be continuous.
At the same time, the interlocutors noted that the Armenian-Lithuanian trade and economic relations are still on an unsatisfactory level, despite the existing potential. Giedrius Apuokas informed that in Lithuania a few companies are interested in cooperation with partners in the field of informational technology.
The Prime Minister and the Ambassador hope that this interest will result involvement of additional investments in Armenia.
In conclusion, the Prime Minister wished Giedrius Apuokas success in further activities.
