Turkish “Anadolu” News Agency reports that Namik Tan, Turkey’s Ambassador to Washington, announced that “Turkey is one of the most important factors in the region” and added that United States also sees that Turkey is one of the most important factors in the region and anti-Turkish lobbies in Washington are seem marginal now.
Talking about Armenian genocide, the ambassador said:
“Allegations against Turkey are related to the global role of the country and today, because of Turkey’s strength, issues like Armenian allegations became marginal. In United States nobody wants to bring these issues on the agenda and risk the relations with Turkey”.
