According to the forecast of the Armenian Ministry of Finance, there will be approximately seven percent economic growth for the country in 2012, and this will be accompanied by a low inflation. This was stated by Finance Minister Vache Gabrielyan on Monday during a year-end press conference.
Gabrielyan noted that the twelve-month inflation will be close to four percent and the average inflation will be 2.5 percent.
“All branches of economy will grow and the industrial production growth will be substantial. Solely construction will not register a growth, but there will be changes likewise in this sector next year because the North-South Road Corridor construction will get underway,” Gabrielyan said.
He added that the passing year was successful for Armenia, against the regional developments, as the economic growth in other countries was 4-5 percent.
