Speaking at the opening session of the conference US Ambassador to Armenia John Heffern praised Armenia’s information technology development.
“When I arrived in Armenia, I had no idea about the achievements in the IT sphere. The creative mind is the key to the future of Armenia. The U.S. Department of Commerce has issued a report based on UNESCO data, according to which Armenia is the first among CIS member states with the number of inventions per capita,” said Heffern, adding “I’m confidence that those innovations can find their proper place in humanitarian and commercial enterprises and ArmTech is a brilliant opportunity for paving the way for the inventions.”
