Musa Mikayelyan’s political analysis dwells on Tigran Urikhanyan’s last statement that several masks were torn during the NA state and legal matters commission. Urikhanyan did not point out names but is clear he was speaking about ANC representative Gagik Jahangiryan who agreed and postponed his initiation of forming a special commission. Mikayelyan calls this “the PAP tears apart Gagik Jahangiryan’s mask”.
Mikyayelyan states this however does not mean tearing political figures’ masks but rather tearing their cooperation masks. The political analyst touches upon the moral aspect of the issue stating that the March 1 has turned to a political bargain, it either appears on the agenda, then is cast aside, the political powers either blame Kocharyan, or Sargsyan and cannot come up with a final decision on solving the matter. Ten people were killed on March 1 but this issue is still neglected.
There are issues that need to be solved solely on the principal ground. Mikayelyan states March 1 events are such a case and when the idea of principles is shattered, nothing remains but to speak in the air saying nothing.
That is why Mikayelyan believes March 1 still goes on and will go on so far as the political powers do not make the tragedy of 2008 a political game and decide to solve it eventually.
