Azerbaijani media reports that Baku International Sea Trade Port transshipped 1.15 million tons of oil in January-October, compared to 1.4 million in the same period last year.
As reported, the decrease in oil cargo transshipment from Central Asia is associated with their redirection to the oil terminal located in the Sangachal settlement.
In 2011 the port transshipped 1.74 million tons of oil cargo which is 13 per cent less than in 2010.The Baku International Sea Trade Port transshipped 1.99 million tons of oil cargo in 2010 which is less by 21 per cent compared to 2009.
