Department of Public and Media Relations of the President inform that Serzh Sargsyan met with the member of the RF Federation Council of the Federal Assembly, the National Assembly and the Federal Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Committee chairman Nikolai Ryzhkov and his delegation.
The RA President welcomed the guests and highly estimated development of the Armenian-Russian partnership, as well as the strengthening of ties between the two friendly nations and the long-standing and loyal friend of Armenia Nikolai Ryzhkov’s personal contribution, and stressed his active and interested activities in the position of the co-chair of Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Committee.
The interlocutors spoke with satisfaction about the two countries’ close interaction within the framework of international organizations.
Nikolai Ryzhkov presented President Serzh Sargsyan the results of today’s 21th meeting of the Armenian-Russian intergovernmental commission and highlighted the importance of its mission.
Serzh Sargsyan wished success to the Commission and expressed hope that the co-chairs of the Armenian and Russian parliamentarians will also continue to work actively and effectively.
