Azerbaijani Trend News Agency reports that Chairman of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Cemil Cicek has visited Azerbaijan and in the airport, while talking to journalists, he talked about Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
According to him , the peace in South Caucasus is connected with Nagorno-Karabakh conflict:
“Turkey has always announced its position on the conflict. Azerbaijan and Turkey are brother states and we will support them as much as possible. We haven’t changed our position on the conflict” said Cicek.
Note, Cicek and his spouse Gulten Cicek, were welcomed by vice-speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament Ziyafat Asgarov.
The aim of the visit is to attend the meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSE) in Baku.
The chairman will also attend several high-level meetings in Azerbaijan.
