Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili, together with the Head of Government of Adjara Levan Varshalomidze visited the alpine village of Beshumi (Adjara), tourists in order to take part in the traditional “Shuamtoba” holiday together with local residents and tourists, apsny.ge reports.
The President discussed with the audience the development of resort areas.
“Those who tell us that we must go back in Soviet times, as if we cannot live other way, I want to say – we have no way back, we go forward only”, – Saakashvili said.
He stressed that no one intends to “give up rebuilt Georgia, as will continue build a new Georgia.”
