Tactics of local self-government bodies in different countries on the international recognition of Nagorno-Karabakh can be effective in the situation, when European countries and the U.S. government are trying to ignore the factual situation in the Caucasus. This was reported by Ukrainian expert, Coordinator of “Politics” Analytical Center of International Programs Oleg Smirnov.
“Recognition of the independence of Nagorno-Karabakh by Australia’s New South Wales state is another evidence of the Armenian community’s productive work, which maximally uses the possibilities assisting Yerevan and Stepanakert in the foreign policy.

Note that Legislative Council of Australian State of New South Wales today, on October 25, adopted a resolution recognizing the right of self-determination Nagorno-Karabakh Republic and its people.
