There will be a special order today in the Government to discuss the gas and oil geological examination issue. It thus restates that oil and gas in the territory of Armenia is the country’s exceptional property which can be handed only for examination and extraction purposes.
In Yeghegnadzor the reconnaissance activities held by “Blacksteer Energy Armenia” were inefficient and the right to examine the gas and oil in Armenia was transferred to “TransEuro Energy”. Up to day no signs of oil existence were spotted in the drillings nonetheless the government has made a decision for the license provision for similar activities.
