By the initiative of RA chief conculate in Los Angeles the charity concert of famous Armenian singer Arax Mansourian took place in Glendale, where her pupil, famous Australian opera singer Lisa Bell also took part.
The press service of RA Foreign Ministry reports to “First Armenian News and Analysis” that many American Armenian music lovers, art critics and foreign guests were present at the concert.
During the concert RA chief councel Grigor Hovhannisyan announced that the singers will leave from LA to Yerevan where with the sponsorship of the first lady they they will give a charity concert and the revenue will be addressed to the needs of children with cancer.
The PM of Australia Julia Gillard welcomed famous Australian soprano Lisa Bell’s charity concert decision in Armenia. She noted. “I heard with proud that the revenue of the concert will be addressed to cure children with cancer in Armenia. Australia appreciates partnership with Armenia, there is a successful Armenian community here, which is proud of its heritage and figh for freedom.”
