Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan received the head of non-governmental international organization of Western Armenian Conference Suren Seraytaryan, vice presidents Karen Mikaelian and Norat Ter-Grigoryan.
Non-governmental international organization of Western Armenian National Congress is registered in the National Assembly in Paris, in accordance with the law of France in 1901 and is a member of the UN Economic and Social Council, as an international non-governmental social organization.
The leaders of the organization presented the goals and programs to the Ministers. The organization should act in the international arena as the representative body of the Western Armenians of the former Ottoman Empire to protect their violated rights and interests.
The organization will work in order to make the Turkish authorities to respond to Western Armenians’ demands.
