Levon Shirinyan, a politician, today had an interview with the journalists concerning the situation in the region and talked about the European diplomacy towards the Safarov’s case.
“The European Diplomacy, including Hungary, is very well aware of Armenian issue. I should recall that Hungarians are part of Austro-Hungarians, who in their turn participated in the Genocide and Holocaust. We always talk about the “European values” but who can say that among these values are not murdering? Murdering is not among these values. Today I think we have the fear of war between Azerbaijan and Armenia, since we won’t leave this issue just like that and as all of you know the international organizations are not punishing Azerbaijan for its action. We should only believe in our own forces. Another important thing that we must do is to build roads quickly. As the last war experience showed ,Georgia couldn’t provide us with the roads, so we must finish the road construction in Meghri city” stressed Shirinyan and added:
“I’m not saying this to make panic in the public, but we should always be aware, and if we solve all the problems, then it will be very easy for us in the future.”
During the meeting, the politician also touched upon the Syrian conflict, and stressed that we are still in safe position but if his regime falls down, according to him, we will face a lot of problems from Turkey.
