The chairman of the primacy of Syrian Berio episcopate Zhirayr Reisyan referred to the announcement of the leaders of Syrian Christian community in Aleppo during the interview with “Erkir Media” several days ago, writes Azdak paper.
The leaders refuse any kind of emigration and criticize any religion extremity. Though Armenian community wasn’t against the announcement, it has declared of not being the part of it.
Reisyan mentioned that not all the leaders were present at the meeting last Friday and it wasn’t right to publish the announcement from their names as well. It was decided to review some points of the announcement and publish it after editing and getting the confirmation of the community leaders.
