“Zhoghovurd” writes that Movses village of Tavush region is 221km far from Yerevan and 88km far from the regional center. It has 27 km long border with Azerbaijan and the air distance is about 350m. The district so close to the border is frequently attacked by the Azeri. As a result, like other border villages, Movses is left almost without Armenians. The youth leave because of military actions and the dead life of the village. As the village head said, 500 people left Movses in 15 years. Only the elderly are left in the community. There only 32 children in the village.
In the interview with “Zhoghovurd”, Movses inhabitants complained of the regional representative of PAP Nina Adamyan, who gives permission to use the tractor presented by “Gagik Tsarukyan” fund only to PAP villagers.
