The rescue service informs that there are closed and impassable highways in the RA territory. The roads leading from the Amberd high mountain meteorological station to Amberd Castle and Kari Lake in the Aragatsotn region are closed.
The Vardenyats mountain pass and the bends of Spitak are challenging to pass. In the angles of Tigranashen, on the roads of Sisian-Goris, Sisian-Zanger, Aparan, Talin-Mastara-Lanjik, Artik-Alagyaz, Gegharkunik, and Lori regions, there is ice in some places.
There is snow in the Vardenyats mountain pass, the Amasiya region, the Saravan-Zanger section, and the city of Jermuk. There is fog in the area called Meghri Sar. Drivers are advised to drive exclusively with winter tires.
According to the information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs of North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is open to all vehicles.
