In the interview with 1news.az, the head of the department of political analysis and information of president’s office of Azerbaijan, Elnur Aslanov spoke about Nagorno-Karabakh’s conflict.
“Azerbaijan has repeatedly offered to start works on peace negotiations of Nagorno-Karabakh’ conflict, but Armenia does not even want to hear about those kinds of documents, because Armenia doesn’t agree on many points”.
“Karabakh’s conflict is a threat to the security of the region, hindering the economic development of Transcaucasia. Yerevan maintains the status quo policy and in such cases it becomes difficult to state a progress in the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group”.
Baku intends to continue his negotiations on giving a status to Karabakh in the Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity. We will use the experience of Europe (particularly the South Tiroli’s experience) in return of the lands after the legal status of Nagorno-Karabakh,” mentioned Elnur Aslanov.
