Georgia has total of 3,621,256 voters, according to figures published by the Central Election Commission (CEC).
Figures released by CEC also include number of voters in each of the 73 election districts; each of these districts also representing single-mandate constituencies where majoritarian MP candidates will also be elected.
The largest constituency is Georgia’s second-largest city of Kutaisi with total of 163,654 voters, followed by Tbilisi’s one of the ten single-mandate constituencies Gldani with 155,822 voters and also Tbilisi’s Samgori district with 155,502 voters.
The smallest constituencies are Kazbegi, a mountainous district in Mtskheta-Mtianeti region with 5,779 voters and Lentekhi in mountainous Racha-Lechkhumi region with 5,955 voters.
According to the election code further corrections can be made in the voters’ list and the final deadline for that is two weeks before the October 1 parliamentary elections.
