In the agenda of the State and Legal Affairs Committee on November 28 in the National Assembly, is Armenian National Congress’ draft resolution for creation of a new ad hoc committee in connection with the 2008 March events. As a result of the discussion the committee should presents its decision to the NA to submit it in the agenda of the session. They recommended setting up the committee by one deputy from each faction. It is supposed that at the committee will present the results of its activities at the NA session until February 4, 2013.
According to the grounds set out in the draft decision, so far have not been identified on March 1-2, 2008, in particular, ten murders and more than a hundred causes of injured persons ( with bullet and missile).
According to ANC deputies, their set up commission with its subject matter and studies fully differs from the previous one. “The main distinguishing feature is that it is limited to investigate murders, cases of gunshot and other injuries, their causes, aims and conditions contributing to their implementation. It will estimate the legality and validity of the actions and decisions of the police and the Prosecutor’s Office’s Special Investigation Service. ”
