Ashot Manucharyan, member of Karabakh union, today had e press-conference and talked about the current situation of Armenia before the upcoming presidential elections.
Accordin to him, due to the current situation in Armenia, Gagik Tsarukyan’s nomination is a must.
“First of all I should stress that the political situation in Armenia is now disastrous.
As you know Russia became very active towards Armenia right after a new project was suggested by PAP; change of the governmental system. Since it is very important for Russia not to be in a distance with Armenia, they will do everything possible in order to have their role in our country. There are lots of political powers who look forward to western countries, especially to US, but Russia must try to keep the balance, so they will have their leader in the presidential elections. +-96
Russian side will do everything possible in order to have some competition in the elections.” said Manucharyan.
So, according to Manucharyan, that person which will act from Russia will be PAP leader Gagik Tsarukyan, so he must be nominated for the upcoming presidential elections.
