The Republican Party did not have enough political willpower to take part in the special session and prove that the proposed projects of the opposition can damage.
Therefore, Serzh Sargsyan’s and RPA’s statements about fair elections are false. This was stated on November 21 by the secretary of the opposition Armenian National Congress Aram Manukyan, who approached the demonstrators gathered in front of the National Assembly.
According to Manukyan, the authorities know very well that in case of fair election they will not get even enough voices to pass to the parliament, moreover, win presidential election. “Therefore, their position is a message for political forces: Do whatever you want, we do not need fair elections, and we do not care about our community and international organizations. We just need to determine our future actions. In addition to the RPA, the remaining forces now need to develop a unified program for the upcoming presidential elections. The authorities themselves have contributed to it. We must create a unified political alliance and take part in the presidential elections, “said Manukyan.
