President of Azerbaijani SOCAR Company, Rovnag Abdullayev, told country’s media that SOCAR guarantees energy security of Georgia.
“I’ve spent two meetings with the Prime Minister of Georgia, Ivanishvili, and both times he expressed confidence that the economic relations with Azerbaijan will develop”, said Abdlyev adding “SOCAR will develop its business in Georgia, which is beneficial both for Georgia and Azerbaijan”.
He also discussed the latest developments related to the attack on Azerbaijanis in the regions of Georgia.
“Ivanishvili said that after 2 weeks, all criminals will be eliminated, and that such attacks are not against Azerbaijanis,” the SOCAR president said.
