“Hraparak” reports it is a long time Iran does not import Armenian sheep. The reason is the 4 times depreciated Iranian national currency which is not profitable for the Iranian businessmen to exchange to dollars – the currency with which they bought the seep from Armenia.
As “Hraparak” concludes, the Armenian consumer benefits from this because the price of the lamb has decreased from 3500 drams to no more than 2000 lamb.
