A new political party with the name “Arakelutyun” is being created in Armenia, which will create territorial structures and will hold the founding congress. This was reported today, November 8, by the members of the initiative group Azat Tovmasyan, Garegin Mouradian, Edward Terteryan, Hakob Manoukian, Hrachya Sargsyan, Marine Yepremyan, Mesrop Arakelyan, Vahe Hovhannisyan, Manuk Sukiasyan.
The group members of the initiative said that the party does not have a pro-Western or pro-Russian orientation, and will be based on the values of freedom and democracy. The party will not have a single leader, the head of the body will be the Council, whose members will be elected at a congress held in the near future.
At the upcoming presidential election this party will not nominate a candidate, and it is not clear yet who it is going to support.
Note that member of the newly founded political force Manuk Sukiasyan was a member of the ANC, but assures that has no connection with it now.
