Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan in his speech during the joint commission’s session of on budget 2013 touched upon the assessment of the budget deficit. He particularly mentioned the country having recorded a 7% economic growth with the budget deficit primarily declared to be 3.1% -to be less according to government estimations: 2.8%. “This conclusion was reached as a result of the discussions with World Bank, heads of IMF and their professional colleagues”, noted the prime Minister.
The particularity of the budget plan is in the new document called “The Risks of the Program and the Possibilities of their Assessment” which being introduced for the first time is still subject to ameliorations. Tigran Sargsyan as well mentioned the three significant principles the state budget is based on: provision of economic competition, human capital development and effective institutes’ presence.
