Press service of Armenia’s government told our News Agency that the second interregional Russian-Armenian forum has already started with the following entitled “Armenia-Russia: Interregional discussion 2012”.
As reported the Tigran Sargsyan, Armenia’s PM, was present at the opening ceremony of the forum.
The source informs that the head of the Russian delegation was Maksim Sokolov.
Welcoming the guests Sargsyan stressed that the forum will certainly help the development of the relations between Russia and Armenia:
“As all of you know Russia is Armenia’s counterpart and we will do everything possible in order to deepen the existed friendly and important relations. I should recall that on October 12, 2012, an important document was signed between Armenia and Russia which was based on economical field. The agreement will last till 2020 and it will greatly support our country. I think that our conversations must be practically used and we will do everything in order to realize the projects which are being discussed here.” Said Saregsyan.
PM also talked about the development of the region and stressed that Armenian governemant does everything in order to help Armenians .
“We give all efforts in order to support people who live in villages, so they won’t be separated from those who live in cities.”
Sargsyan also stressed that one of the most important thing is the transportation field between Russia and Armenia.
“We must be very careful to that field since a lot of goods are being transferred from Russia To Armenia and vise verse, so it is very important factor for our country.
The source informs that the members of Russian delegation had held meeting both in Yerevan and in other regions of Armenia and due to these meeting some very important agreements have been signed between Armenian Vayots Dzor region and Russian Archangelsk region. ”
