Today, at the meeting of the National Assembly ANC deputy Nikol Pachinyan recording that the government sold the building of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, appealed to Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan. “Tell your colleagues to keep us aware a week before selling the NA building, so that we can arrange our affairs.”
Referring to the August 30 events, when Syrian family was not allowed to enter the country, and they were exiled for the reason of not being Armenians, Pashinyan inquired whether the Ministry thoroughly comprehended what happened to that family. “We say come home, they came and went back regretfully” noted Pahinyan.
The minister stressed that the family was Assyrian and only grandfather was Armenian, and they were told to get visa and come back. Hakobyan urged to take into account national security issues but didn’t answer the question what happened to that family.
