Official sources report that on September 28 Edward Nalbandian, who made a working visit to New York, had meetings with the Foreign Ministers of Mexico, Cuba and Guatemala.
At the meeting with Mexican Foreign Secretary Patricia Espinosa the promotion of bilateral relations was discussed. The Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the two countries talked about the development of cooperation, the strengthening of legal framework, intensification of political dialogue and development of inter-parliamentary ties. There is information that Armenia expressed willingness to open an embassy to Mexico next year.
With Guatemalan Foreign Minister Harold Caballeros Edward Nalbandian highlighted the mutual commitment to develop relations, touched upon the establishment of the cooperation between the MFAs of the two countries, and discussed the possibilities to cooperate in the spheres of culture and education.
During the meeting with Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, the Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs, the interlocuters talked about the needed steps for the development of bilateral relations, as well as exchanged views on regional issues.
