International Airport named after David Agmashenebeli was opened today in Kutaisi by Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili. Together with the President, at the opening of the airport were members of the Georgian government and the Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
“Recently we opened temple of Bagrat. We rebuild the city of Kutaisi. Parliamentary capital is not just someone’s whim, but what Tbilisi reallys – all regions of the country should be developed, “- said Saakashvili.
According to the president, the airport will take an additional load, when in a year between Georgia and Europe will be a visa-free regime and free trade. Georgian President also reminded the state of Kutaisi airport in nineties.
