Presidents of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia, Dmitry Medvedev, Ilkham Aliyev and Serzh Sargsyan, have begun talks at the Krasnaya Polyana ski resort, reports Itar-Tass news agency.
The Nagorno-Karabakh settlement will be central at the talks.
On February 3, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexander Lukashevich said the Sochi March 5 meeting of the presidents of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan would determine further steps towards the Nagorno-Karabakh settlements.
‘We believe that at the upcoming Sochi March 5 meeting, the presidents will have chances to review the situation in between the summit and determine further concrete steps in order to find mutually acceptable solutions to the Nagorno-Karabakh problem,’ Lukashevich pointed out.
