Azeri news pages report that Deputy Prime Minister of the Netherlands made an official visit to Azerbaijan and met with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. They had a conversation about the business cooperation, democracy, human rights and strengthening of stabile relations of Azerbaijan with its neighboring countries.
“My visit to Azerbaijan as a Deputy Prime Minister of the Netherlands and representative of the Ministry of Agriculture was very interesting. I arrived in here together with a group of businessmen to expand partnership opportunities between the two countries,” Netherlands’s Deputy Prime Minister Maxime Verhagen told journalists.
Mentioning his initiatives about opening of the Netherlands’s embassy in Azerbaijan Verhagen said that he can see the result today and noted that the current experience between the two countries will allow Azerbaijan to receive several invitations for the cooperation in the fields of energy, agriculture and the other spheres.
